Head of Experience Design

To own the capability of Experience design (CX, Service Design, UX, Creative / UI, Content) within the Immersion Group. This includes, but is not limited to: The creative, managerial and operational leadership of the capability within the group. Setting and delivering on the strategy for design development and execution within Immersion Group. The management of the methods, tools and skills required to execute design at the appropriate standards and responsibility levels of Immersion Group. The quality assurance of the delivery of the capability across the organisation as well as the processes by which the capability competencies are assessed and grown within the organisation. The representation of design within the connected experience transformation capabilities of the organisation, as well as publicly within the industry. Personal execution of the competency at the level of a principal in the skill, across complex and varied delivery environments, working directly with clients and teams to assure delivery outcomes.

  • Minimum 8+ years’ working experience
  • Manage cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Lead design teams and the group design capability, motivating stakeholders and unit heads
  • Stand strong to the rationale behind your unit decisions and recommendations
  • Report into the CXO, leadership team and Board
  • Self-manage and work independently both onsite and remotely
  • Meet deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment
